We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of our pioneering Drone4HER e-learning course on November 30th, 2023. This initiative is at the forefront of leveraging drone technology to safeguard and maintain the splendor of Europe’s historic gardens.
Course Highlights:
- International Participation: With 33 attendees from 7 European nations, our course fostered a global dialogue on heritage conservation.
- Innovative Curriculum: Participants explored the synergy between the timeless beauty of historic gardens and the modern capabilities of drones.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Our commitment to breaking gender barriers shone through, creating a diverse and inclusive community of learners.
Voices from the Course: “This course opened up new vistas in heritage conservation for me,” shared a participant from Germany, reflecting the widespread enthusiasm for the program.
Looking Ahead:
- Expanding Accessibility: A call for multilingual resources has emerged, with plans to translate the Drone4HER Manual into additional languages.
- Recognition of Achievement: Certificates were awarded to dedicated participants, with six exceptional learners participating in an exclusive piloting exercise in Collodi, Italy.
- Continued Learning: We pledge to keep the course accessible and are already charting the course for future learning opportunities.
